Once the previous step is completed then you need to make sure that caulk the edges. You also need to make sure that you caulk the screws so that water doesn’t get underneath. The last step that you need to perform is painting over the seams of the newly installed piece of metal. Make sure that you use some roof coating as this will add extra protection to the roof and prevent any problems in the future. After all you don’t want to have to do this again.
